We found this sign hanging over the bar at Alberta House... how appropriate!!

And we were there...OMG!!!!

Oh Canada...!!!

Canada 'Owns the Podium'!! Thanks WinSport Canada!!!

Sweet victory was theirs!!! The crowd was insane!!! Gold for Canada!!!!

Do you think they are thinking they won?
Maybe they think or at least she thinks they got second...

Can you see our boss in this picture?

Watching our Canadians skate to gold was one of the highlights of our trip - and it didn't involve that much alcohol!!

And here is a picture from our real seats!! Can you see the skaters? Thanks WinSport Canada...lol

Team Glaudia did not have seats together so they found their own seats. Unfortunately they were occupied by the President of Skate Canada! We had to move but we took a picture before we went to our actual seats...

Later on Day 3..Victory Ceremony

At the Victory Ceremony we were treated to a performance by Trooper and Lover Boy, or Lard Boy as we affectionately called him. He hasn't aged a bit, more like a lot. We love the headband, we wish we would have caught it when he threw the sweaty disgusting thing in the crowd. We also loved the fact that he wasn't wearing the official Olympic Jersey, but last years discount jersey. The cheese factor was over the top!!
On our walk home we noticed this huge Canadian Flag drapped on a building, it was so crazy big!
See you next time as we report on Canada Figure skating!

Day 3

This is all backwards, but at least we are posting this early in the morning. Our day started as normal until the sea of orange was upon us. The freakie deakie Dutch were out in full force to support their sport, Speed Skating.
Canada won silver!! Who cares about the Dutch..lol

Not sure about the doll legs in the Dutch back pack, mabe its their custom...

Here is our first experience with the Dutch..we were scared...lol Then we met up with Mr. Canada. He made us feel safe, and we knew then Canada had a chance for a medal!!

The speed skating oval was incredible, and the experience was amazing. Very kewl to be there, and see Canada win a medal!

earlier that morning...

Early that morning but still the same night Gloria found our new Olympic hopeful 'Crotch Boy' competeing in the 2014 Diaper Olympics.

Go Canada Go!!!!

still day 2....

Where's waldo...

Still day 2... it goes on & on...

We also met up with Dana & Jodi (and Allison too - insert picture from your imagination. She is a crazy Irish girl...)

Still Day 2... Bloody 'ell

Our boss is in this picture... can you tell where he is...

Still day 2... Bloody

Later that day...

We met up with our friend Terri. Her son competed in Ski Jumping at the Olympics. This is when Trouble meets Glaudia... Free food and oh yeah free Booze for the 3 hour train ride back to Vancouver... you could say we poured ourselves off the train... and then we met up with our boss... dun dun dun danh

Still Whistler

So can you see the smile on the Inukshuk? He enjoyed having us between his legs... tickle tickle...

Once back in the Village we went to Longhorns. We happen to sit beside a bunch of Croations. Lucky Claudia got to sit on 'Dead Sexy Funky Croatian' . Just look at how excited she made him!!

After the Super G we had to take the chair lift back down. This was a new adventure for Claudia. Can you tell how impressed she is...
'MoFo'...

It was such a popular event even ABBA came to cheer the ladies on...
ps... these outfits will be avilable at Slopestyle in the fall...

Whistler

See we really are enjoying a frosty beer at 10:30 am at the ladies Super G. Do you appreciate our Vanoc colours?

Day 2 (Barely!!!)

After a 4:15 wakeup call we boarded the
Rockie Mountaineer, Alberta Train to Whistler. We are positive the sceenery was beautiful but we slept a good chunk of the way... Oopah!
We changed into our ski clothes to watch the ladies super G but it was 15 C & even Clauida was boiling. We couldn't understand why no one else was drinking beer besides us until we discovered it was only 10:30am. Rock on!! We thought for sure it was at least 2pm!!!
We were 3 row up from our 'Jagr' bombs. Yum Yum Slurp!!

Don't you agree Anita?

Claudia distracted our pilot to wear her hat. It is lucky we didn't crash!! We flew on the Alberta Government Jet to Vancouver & we could bring our own 'liquids'. Our coffee never tasted so good...

Day 1

After Gloria finding her camera cords she arrived at Claudia's (running 15 mins late) we lost Claudia's phone under the car seat, had to pull over to reteive it (Chris was still on the other end) and then we still had to stop at Starbucks for our enroute fix... we only arrived a little bit late. Claudia relaxed when she saw the plane was still there...
